Meet Coach Dee Dial
The problem is not the decision.
It is what is underneath it.
You are not indecisive. You make hard calls all the time. But this one keeps circling back, and the more you turn it over, the heavier it gets. That is not a willpower problem.
When a capable person cannot move on a decision, it is usually because two things they value are pulling against each other. You cannot think your way out of that, and you cannot force it either. You have to see what is actually underneath.
You have built a career most people would admire. And lately, a quieter question keeps returning: is this still the life you want?
That question deserves more than a quick answer. It usually means something has shifted. You have simply grown past the version of yourself that built all this, and the next one has not fully arrived yet.
That’s where I can help.
Past the performance
For more than two decades, I have advised and led through high-stakes organizational change across some of the most demanding environments in the public and private sectors.
For the better part of the last decade, that work has included coaching emerging leaders stepping into greater visibility and senior executives navigating decisions of real complexity and consequence.
I have partnered with them in the moments that matter most: the promotions that raise the stakes, the transitions that redraw a career, the decisions that look clear on paper and refuse to settle.
What I have learned across all of it is that the hardest decisions are rarely solved on the surface. They are solved when you stop performing long enough to see what is really in the way.
That is where the real work begins.
Six years studying why capable people get stuck
My work is grounded in graduate studies in Organizational Development and Knowledge Management and professional coach training, both from George Mason University.
It is an unusual pairing.
It’s coach training built on systems thinking, organizational behavior, and change management, so I see both the person and the patterns they are moving within.
For the past six years, I have applied that lens to one question in particular: how inner conflict forms, how it surfaces, and how it quietly shapes life and career decisions.
Drawing on established research and on patterns I have observed in practice, I developed the Inner Conflict Profile™ and the Undivided™ framework, a practical way to work through the tensions that hold accomplished people in place.
Lasting success is not about balancing life and work. It is about integrating them, rooted in purpose, values, and the legacy you want to leave.
When you build alignment on the inside, that clarity extends naturally to the teams and the life you lead.
What changes when inner conflict is understood
In satisfaction surveys, clients have reported:
Clearer decisions, sharper focus, and better prioritization.
Stronger emotional resilience under pressure.
Career moves and life transitions aligned with their values and vision.
Durable, sustainable results, without sacrificing their own well-being or their team's.
"Dee was very helpful in the articulation of core values and bringing these values into the decision making processes." Heather W., Director --
“Working with Dee helped bring clarity to my thinking and focused my analysis when processing conflicting values while making a critical career decision. Her coaching helped me uncover my true values and gain confidence in the decision I made.” — A.H., C-Suite Executive
“I worked with Coach Dee on a major career decision that I spent years avoiding. I couldn’t decide whether to leave the agency where I built my career or find a way to stay that wasn’t costing me. I am still here but on terms I chose rather than accepted.” — I.M., SES, Department of Defense

Private references can be arranged for serious inquiries.
Start with a conversation, not a commitment.
If any of this resonates, the next step is simple.
The Undivided™ Chemistry Session is a relaxed, 20-minute conversation with no agenda, no pitch, and no pressure.
Just a chance to say out loud what you have probably only thought privately, and to see if we are a fit for each other.
Rather begin quietly, before we speak?
Take the Inner Conflict Profile™.
A self-reflection that helps you name what you might be feeling. Seven to ten minutes, on your own, and the language for what’s been hard to name.
